Building Basics​

For this 2003/04 Hong Kong Housing Authority Annual Report, we adopted both
Chinese calligraphic and pictographic characters from the cover to the chapter openings  to the theme, “Building Basic”. It described the organisation’s basic mission: building homes, and its underlying principle: caring for the people. The Chinese calligraphic character “Home” used on the cover symbolizes the HA’s concentrates on the its return to the roots and core focus – to provide affordable housing for all those who need it in
Hong Kong.
